All-State Selections
The All-State Selections are now available.
Important All-State Information:
Again, we will be working on the committee basis for All-State. If you have a question, please contact your Division Chair.
Important Facts:
Order of selection (Outfield, Short, Third, Second, First, Catcher, Pitcher)
Number of selections--Districts: one per each position plus one extra pitcher and a player at large from any position (totaling 11)
The at-large player can only advance in the region if the player in front of them is selected to the region team.
Region selects two players from each position (outfield has 6, pitcher 4) - totaling 20.
A reminder… strength of schedule is important, so make sure the schedules are on the back of the forms.
Only coaches who are members in good standing and have paid the current dues are eligible to nominate their players or vote. Each District Chair will receive the list of coaches who are members after the May 1 deadline. ONLY VARSITY HEAD COACHES CAN VOTE (unless there is an emergency situation). If the coach's name is not on the list, they must pay $35.00 to the District Chair who forward the dues to the All-State meeting.
